Meet the Moms: Hannah Anariba

Hi, I’m Hannah.

I’m a Seattle native who loves a quality latte, Spanish conversation, airports with long-awaited hugs, and solo trips to Target. I’ll never turn down a fresh baked Snickerdoodle or a conversation about Costa Rica. I love a good walk in the sunshine and the smell of the Pacific Ocean.

I’m in a lifelong battle with chronic anxiety and depression. Though it doesn’t define me, it is and always will be a part of me.

I’m a single mom to three brilliant girls which was certainly not on my 30 before 30 bucket list. While it is one of life’s greatest challenges, it is also one of its greatest joys. I didn’t expect much of anything about my life as it is now, but I’m learning to lean into it, to savor each moment.

  1. Girl, your heart for the world gives me chills. Good ones, I mean. 🙂 Stopping by from Lisa-Jo’s place, and I love your fearlessness! It’s great to meet you. 🙂

  2. OK, seriously? That photo of you is so adorable I want to put you in my pocket and take you home with me! So glad to meet you – thanks for visiting. You and Nate made me smile big – I have brothers too all the way back home in South Africa and I miss them tons!!

    Wishing you a beautiful weekend,

  3. Hello! I came here through the (in)courage giveaway (you posted before me). Loved reading about you & your heart for missions – I can literally hear your passion. God bless!

  4. So nice to “meet” you, Hannah! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Really enjoyed reading your blog and have added you to my google reader! Grace and Peace, Christine

  5. Greetings! This is my first time on your blog, but I just wanted to let you know that your “about” section alone has me hooked. You have a serious talent for weaving words, and I look forward to checking in regularly — on your stories and your life in the mission field, wherever that might be.
