Because you’re worth it.

I fail a lot. Like really… All. the. time. I don’t do my homework. I fail tests. I say mean things. I gossip. I ignore people. I judge people. I hurt people. I make other things more important than God. I don’t love God with all of my heart.

But I hope even in my failure you can see a glimpse of this: No matter what you do, God is crazy about you.

Despite your wrong actions, you are loved deeply, you do matter, and there’s nothing in the world that could make God not love you. He’s completely sold out for you. I hope you know you’re worth it.

“I can’t brag about my love for God because I fail Him daily, but I can brag about His love for me because it never fails.” Adam from Owl City

  1. I think when you show that you are prone to failure you are showing that you are real and then you are showing that even in your failure God can still use you.

    That is a powerful message.

  2. I figured that after our talk last night I should check in on you blog today. So glad I did. I was met with heavy encouragement.

I’ve been hearing people say, “He bought _____ for you,” a lot lately. He bought your ability to love. He bought your ability to dream. He bought your ability to bear fruit. He bought life. He bought. He bought. It’s been getting to me. Despite what I do, he still bought it. It’s done. A non-refundable purchase that’s waiting for me to grab ahold.

    Thanks for being real.

    Amen, Hannah. Amen.
