Lose (v.): to come to be without something so that there is little or no prospect of recovery.
One of my favorite songs from Hillsong United says this, “Your will above all else, my purpose remains: the art of losing myself in bringing You praise.” These words are beautiful to me.
Christ calls us to lose our lives for him: “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it,” Matthew 16:25. But it’s not as easy as a one-time decision. It’s a lifelong process filled with grace and faith and learning. It is an art of learning how to surrender to the Lord, to give him our lives and bring him praise.
I want to love God so much that His desires become my desires and so my life is full because He has made it so. I want to keep losing me to be more like Him, to love Him more than my own life. It’s a process I will be working on for the rest of my life.
This is the art of losing me so that I might gain Christ.
He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose. Jim Elliot

Cool! I’ll be around Hannah =D
By the way, your blog looks nice!
I just saw that I posted a comment last December. That’s funny, I was just starting to know you. It has been a while now! Almost a year.
Yes, it has been a while now. It’s been a very good year of getting to know you Josue.
